Privacy policy

Last updated September 17, 2026.

K.I.S.S. Research collects only what we need to run a small research desk in Colorado: so you can sign in, accept the terms, read briefs, ask a question, and place an order. We do not sell your information. We do not use it to give medical or health advice. Using the site means you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

You give us:

  • Account details — email, display name, and a password (stored hashed, not in the clear). If you ask to reset a password we email a one-hour link to that address.
  • The research-use agreement you accepted, and when — including that you certified you are at least 21.
  • Contact notes — name, email, topic, and the question you wrote.

Orders, payment proof, crypto hashes, and shipping addresses are collected on the order form (currently EZFormz). That form has its own records. We see what we need to pack and ship: who ordered, where it goes, what was paid, and tracking.

We do not run a third-party advertising pixel. We do not collect card numbers. Payment happens off-site with Zelle, Venmo, crypto, or another method you choose on the form.

We do not ask for health information. Do not put personal medical details in a contact note.

2. How we use it

  • To keep you signed in and enforce the research-use terms.
  • To confirm you are 21 or older before the briefs and order form.
  • To pack, ship, and send tracking to the email on the order.
  • To answer a contact note at the email you left.
  • To refuse requests that look intended for human use.
  • To keep the catalog honest and to meet legal duties.

We do not send promotional mail.

3. Who sees it

You see your own account. The catalog operator sees contact notes and enough of an order to reply and to ship. We do not sell personal information.

We may share what is necessary with:

  • The payment service you chose (Zelle, Venmo, or a crypto network), when you send payment yourself.
  • The carrier, for the shipping label — name and address.
  • The order-form host, to take the request.
  • Our hosting provider, to keep the site running.
  • A court, regulator, or law enforcement if the law requires it, or if we reasonably believe a request was for human use or otherwise unlawful — to protect the catalog, the people using it, or the public.

4. Cookies

Sign-in uses a session cookie so you stay signed in. That is it. No advertising cookies. No analytics suite.

5. Security and how long we keep it

We use ordinary technical safeguards. No system is perfect. We keep account, agreement, order, and contact records as long as we need them to fulfill orders, answer questions, and meet legal duties, then we delete or minimize them.

6. Your choices (including Colorado residents)

You may ask us, through Contact, to see, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to what we must keep for an order or the law. This catalog is not for anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

The Colorado Privacy Act applies to businesses over certain size thresholds. We are a small catalog and likely under those thresholds. We still honor a reasonable access, correction, or deletion request from a Colorado resident.

If you use the site from outside the United States, your information is processed in the United States.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top is the current version. Using the site after an update means you agree to it.

8. Contact

Privacy questions go through Contact.
