Terms of sale

These terms are between you and K.I.S.S. Research, operating from Colorado, United States. By creating an account, checking the access agreement, using this site, opening the briefs, or placing an order on the order form, you agree to them. They sit with the Privacy policy and Shipping & returns policy. Checking the box is your electronic signature. Colorado recognizes electronic signatures the same as wet ink (C.R.S. Title 24, Article 71.3).

1. Research purposes only

All materials sold by K.I.S.S. Research are intended for laboratory research purposes only. They are not for human or veterinary use, not for consumption, and not intended for use in diagnostic procedures. They have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulator for safety, efficacy, or any use in humans or animals.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These materials are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. They are not a drug, not a dietary supplement, not a cosmetic, and not a medical device.

The products offered on this site are sold solely for lawful research purposes. We do not give medical advice. If a request does not fit these terms, we may refuse or cancel it.

2. Who may access and order

Access to this site, the briefs, and the order form is limited. You certify that:

• You are at least 21 years of age. That is our rule for this catalog — not a claim that Colorado sets 21 as the age of majority (that is 18). We will not knowingly deal with anyone under 21.
• You represent that the information you give is true — who you are, where it ships, and what the request is for.
• You are a qualified researcher, scientist, or analytical professional, or you are purchasing on behalf of a research institution.
• You will use the materials exclusively for lawful in-vitro laboratory research in a controlled research environment.
• You will not administer, inject, ingest, or otherwise introduce any product into yourself, any other human, or any animal.
• You will not resell, transfer, or distribute any product for human or veterinary consumption or for any purpose other than research.
• You are responsible for lawful possession, import, export, and handling where the materials go. We may refuse a destination.

3. The order form

Materials are requested on the linked order form, not as a cart on this site. An order placed there is still an order with K.I.S.S. Research under these terms. Pay with the method posted on that form and attach proof there. Prices on a placed request do not change if the shelf price moves later.

You represent that the contact and shipping information on a request is true. Stock can move. If a line is gone after you place a request, we will write you at the email on the request and offer a substitute or a refund of that line.

We typically begin processing a paid request within 1–2 business days. If payment is not received within 48 hours of placing, we may cancel it. Unpaid requests can be cancelled by writing us. Paid requests that have not shipped can be cancelled through Contact. Once a package is with the carrier, it cannot be cancelled or changed.

We may refuse or cancel any request that appears intended for human use, that ships to a restricted jurisdiction, that is incomplete or misrepresented, or that we cannot fill from current stock.

4. Quality

Quality is how we treat the shelf. We do not list a lot until third-party testing is on file and the certificate of analysis meets the standard we hold for work on our own bench. Research products are kept frozen until shipment.

If something arrives damaged, incomplete, or clearly the wrong identity, send a note through Contact with the request ID and photographs within 7 days of delivery. We will look at it. If it is on us, we will replace it or refund the line. That is not medical advice, and it is not a return of opened research chemicals.

5. Shipping in short

Choose Ground, 2 day, or Next day on the order form. Flat Rate Ground $10.50, 2 day $18.50, Next day $42.50. Free shipping is by coupon or when we turn that offer on for Ground. The full rules live on Shipping & returns.

6. Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees that apply to the purchase, unless Colorado or another law requires us to collect them. This is not tax advice.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The materials are provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Research chemicals are not warranted for any use in humans or animals.

Nothing in these terms is a guarantee of purity, identity, or results beyond the certificate of analysis for that lot, as written.

8. Limitation of liability

You assume full responsibility for lawful possession, handling, storage, use, and compliance where you are. We are not liable for misuse or for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, to the fullest extent Colorado law allows. For any claim related to a purchase, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for that specific line.

This limit does not apply to fraud, gross negligence, or any claim Colorado law does not let a seller limit — including rights under the Colorado Consumer Protection Act that cannot be waived.

9. Indemnity

If you use materials for human or animal use, transfer them for that purpose, or otherwise break these terms or the law, you will defend and indemnify K.I.S.S. Research, and the people running it, against claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees that come from that conduct.

10. Colorado law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the state courts in Adams County, Colorado, or the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, are the place for disputes, except where Colorado law requires another forum. If you are a consumer whose home state gives you protections that cannot be waived, those protections still apply to the extent the law says they must.

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. Using the site or the order form after an update means you agree to the new terms. We may ask you to check the box again when the agreement version changes.
